Robert Schikowski, Ph.D.

Robert has been part of CLRP since 2009, when he started writing his Ph.D. thesis on object-conditioned differential marking in Chintang and Nepali. He completed his thesis in 2013 and continued working in the project. He coordinates the development of the Chintang Language Corpus and the associated electronic dictionary. He is responsible for the training of glossers, the creation of knowledge ressources, corpus management, and the workflow.

Taras Zakharko, M.A.

Taras worked for CLRP as a student assistant from 2006 to 2011. In 2015 he completed a PhD thesis on a corpus-based typology of clause linkage, including Chintang as one of the subject languages. He continues to assist the project with the development of tools for corpus linguistics and workflow.

Kristina Labs started working in CLRP in 2006 as a student at the University of Leipzig. She is responsible for glossing texts and for the question-answering workflow between the glossers in Germany and the native speakers in Nepal. She wrote her master's thesis in 2010 about the acquisition of relative clauses in Chintang and continues to work in the project as a freelancer.

Felix Klein was a member of the CPDP team from September 2006 until October 2008 and from October 2009 until April 2010. He was primarily involved in the child language (language acquisition) subproject. His main work was glossing and translating the data of the child language corpus.

Netra became part of the team in 2004 when the DoBeS project CPDP started. First he worked as a research assistant in Kathmandu, then he started to write a grammar of Chintang as his Ph.D. thesis in 2007 at the University of Leipzig. He completed his thesis in 2013.

Sebastian Sauppe was working for the Chintang and Puma Documentation Project between March 2008 and August 2011. He was primarily involved in the interlinear glossing of Chintang child language texts and in work on the Chintang-Nepali-English dictionary. He also helped to train student assistants as interlinear glossers and did some coding work for child language studies.

Sarah Schneider

Sarah Schneider studied Linguistics and Sociology at the University of Leipzig until 2011 and was involved in CLRP since February 2010. She was mainly involved in glossing adult texts and tagging them for argument roles and verb frames. In October 2011 she started an internship in Kathmandu and Chintang working, among other things, on the dictionary.
